Day 8 (Home Sweet Home!)

We have arrived safely back home! After some much-needed rest, we will post more pictures and words on this blog. Oh, and we saw Mount Fuji from the air while flying back: here's a picture taken from our plane:

Day 5 (15 Dec)

Hi people! Pardon about not updating yesterday: we were very busy travelling outside Japan: we went to Kamakura and Yokohama. Today, we visited 2 schools: Ogibuko High and the Japan Music High School. In the last school, the YJ dance club students even got more than we expected: they were treated to a class on tap dancing, and got to dance together with the JMHS students in their practice for the muscial "Chorus Line"!

We have completed another day of activities! We visited the Suntory Museum of Art to view the travelling Picasso exhibition, and we also went to Ueno Park to visit the National Museum of Western Art and studied some of the best collection of Western art in Japan, such as Rodin's "The Thinker". The Dance Club then took a lesson with the Japanese Austrian Ballet Company and School, while the art students did life observation study of the class. Dinner was a delicious Hokkaido seafood shabu-shabu, rounded off with a walk around the famous Ginza area. Here's some photographs:

Hi everyone. We have successfully completed two days of activities and everyone is well and good. There is internet access here in the hotel, so people have been updated families/friends from home for the past few days.

My last reminder!

Things to Note:
- Each individuals are only allowed one cabin luggage( not exceeding
20kg!) and one hand luggage( nt having liquid mixture that exceeds
100ml).
- Get a transformer if the power supply required by your gadgets is not
met! ( rememeber Japan power point is different from Singapore!)
- Time zone is GMT +09:00 ( meaning it is 0700 in sg but is 0800 in
Japan.)
- Temperature is gonna range from 2-11 degrees celsius.( please rememeber
your thermal wear! )
-Your Vitamin C pills!
-Most importantly!!! Put a set of thermal wear and winter coat in your hand
luggage!! you dun wanna be frozen the moment we touch down in Japan, right?

Must remember to double check whatever you are suppose to bring.. =)

7 Days to go.

Hey guys and girls!
The trip is just 7 days away.
Are you excited?!

Hmm.. Have you gotten your winter clothings, (eg: sweater, winter coat, thermo wear, etc.) ready? Remember to bring footwears that are resistance to water!
The temperature would most probably be around 10 degree celsius or maybe lower? The weather has been kind of unpredictable.

Hmm... I guess that is all for now!
